Nopalera’s empire is expanding. The Latina-owned beauty brand will now be available on a global scale at Ulta Beauty stores in Mexico, online in the USA, and Ulta Beauty stores in the Middle East.
“Bringing Nopalera home is more than a business move—it’s a heritage homecoming,” the Mexican-American founder and CEO, Sandra Velasquez said in a press statement about the product’s availability in Mexico. “Our products are born from the cultural wealth of Mexico, and now they’ll be on the shelves where that heritage began.”
She continues: “This launch is a statement. Latino culture is global—rich in artistry, beauty, and tradition—and it resonates with consumers everywhere. From Mexico City to Dubai to New York, our heritage is celebrated on every shelf.”
The new expansion will feature the Mexican heritage-inspired brand’s popular products, like its new fragrance line, and its signature bath and body products. The brand currently carries body creams, hand creams, lotion bars, and more. Starting this month, the products will be available in Ulta Beauty stores in Mexico. The expansion will continue in late September with a U.S. online launch, then in Ulta Beauty’s Middle East locations later this year. The exact dates for Middle Eastern locations are yet to be revealed.
Nopalera is a modern Mexican beauty and lifestyle brand that is inspired by a cactus’ “strength, nourishment, and beauty.” It is intended to be a celebration of Mexican culture and a movement for “clean beauty, cultural pride, and unapologetic self-worth.”
