Police have responded to a reported shooting at a Dallas high school, exactly one year after students protested over safety concerns.
Students could be seen running and evacuating from Wilmer-Hutchins High School in clips shared to social media Tuesday afternoon after an individual reportedly opened fire. A 17-year-old was allegedly shot in the leg, sources told FOX 4.

Police received a call about the shooting just after 1 p.m. So far no casualties have been reported.
Exactly one year prior on April 15, 2024, students protested at the high school over safety concerns. On April 12, a student had been able to sneak in a gun and was able to shoot another student in the leg, NBC DFW reported at the time.
