Data whiz Harry Enten has broken down Donald Trump’s approval ratings, claiming one specific community ‘hates’ the president, especially when it comes to immigration
CNN’s Harry Enten claimed one specific US demographic “despises” Donald Trump during a data segment on Monday.
Speaking on November 17, Harry revealed that Latino voters are abandoning the president in huge numbers, with immigration being the biggest sticking point for them.
“Latinos despise, hate Donald Trump,” Harry told John Berman, as he showed the drop in support for the president from a month before the 2024 election to November 2025. In October of last year, Trump’s approval rating among Latino voters was two points below former Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris. However, this month, his rating had plunged by 38 points.

Despite this, during the latest presidential election, Trump gained more support from Latinos than he had in 2016 and 2020. He won 48% of the vote, just behind Harris, who won 51%.
A UCLA report from October found that Latinos made up nine out of 10 arrests by ICE agents during Donald Trump’s first six months in office. It is also believed that the Supreme Court’s decision to allow immigration agents to consider race, language and location in stops could have a “marked impact” on the Latino community.
“Whatever Donald Trump is doing in office, in the minds of Latinos, it is not working. They have turned against him in massive, massive numbers,” Harry explained, summing up his data with a simple, “Oh my goodness.”
A poll from last month by CNN and YouGov also showed Trump’s general standing among Latino voters and outlined that his approval rating had dropped from -2 points to -34 points in approximately nine months.
However, Harry emphasized that this drop is not just happening in the Latino community, but overall, as the president’s rating decreased by 20 to 30 points across numerous groups.
“I’m laughing because you never see any numbers like this,” Harry remarked after chuckling when presenting his data, adding, “Latinos back in the Democratic camp in 2025, in a way they simply were not in 2024, is simply because of Donald John Trump.”
Viewers were quick to share their thoughts on the topic, commenting on a video posted by Harry on social media. “It’s game over… Latinos are going to overwhelmingly vote Democrat, Black voters are going to vote overwhelmingly Democrat, and if the special elections are any indication, women are going to vote Democrat,” one X user said. “And once that happens, no amount of gaslighting or wag-the-dog situation is going to change the outcome of 2026.”
“Absolutely, and it’s not just Latinos. Trump’s approval ratings have taken a hit across multiple demographics this year, and it’s likely to get worse,” wrote a second person, as a third added, “Oh yeah. The Republicans aren’t going to get any Latino votes anymore.”
They suggested Republicans are “Gone. Done. Over.” However, in typical fashion, MAGA fans simply wrote comments like, “Fake news,” and, “Deport,” as a response to the polls.
