The Latino Leadership Council (LLC) announced the election of Carlos X. Montoya as its new Chairman, succeeding David Andalcio who has served with distinction in the role during the prior two years. Montoya brings over three decades of executive leadership in business and investment banking to advance the organization’s mission of fundraising and helping to elect qualified Latino and non-Latino candidates to public office with a focus of ensuring Latino interests are well represented. Under Montoya’s leadership, the LLC will focus on key priorities, such as:
Expanding Membership Growth: Increasing the size of general membership with particular emphasis on recruitment of women and young professionals to broaden the organization’s reach and impact.
Electoral Success Expansion: Growing the footprint of successful LLC-backed candidates with emphasis on City, County, and Statewide candidacies to maximize Latino representation across all levels of government.
Montoya brings over 30 years of executive experience in business and investment banking, currently serving as Chairman, President, and CEO of I-ON Digital Corporation. He is also a veteran of the United States Coast Guard.
